Watch Dogs Legion PS4 Pre-Orders Are $40 For Some Reason

July 7, 2020

Ahead of Ubisoft Forward this coming Sunday, Watch Dogs Legion PS4 pre-orders have received a startling discount at Amazon. Normally priced at $60, Watch Dogs Legion is currently on sale for $40 at Amazon; unfortunately, the discount is only available for the PS4 version of the game, and Xbox One copies are still $60. Amazon doesn’t charge you for a pre-order until the item actually ships, so if you’re interested in owning the game on PlayStation, we’d recommend grabbing it at this price ASAP. You’ll be able to cancel at any time until right before the item ships.

You’ll also get the game’s pre-order bonuses for buying Watch Dogs Legion early: the Gold King Pack, which includes several in-game cosmetics. See our Watch Dogs Legion pre-order guide for more info on bonuses and its special editions.

Watch Dogs Legion is the third game in the Watch Dogs series. The game is set in post-Brexit London, and once again, you play as a hacker. This time, however, you can recruit any non-player character to carry out your mission, each of whom has unique traits and abilities that can aid your cause.

Watch Dogs Legion was planned for March of this year but has since been delayed into Ubisoft’s 2020-21 fiscal year, meaning it could arrive anywhere between now and March 31, 2021. Rainbow Six Quarantine and Gods & Monsters are also planned to release in this period. We’re sure to learn more about Watch Dogs Legion and Ubisoft’s other upcoming titles in this Sunday’s Ubisoft Forward livestream, which will kick off at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET with a pre-show that starts 30 minutes prior.

GameSpot may get a commission from retail offers.
