Is Fall Guys Coming To Xbox, Switch, And Mobile?

Fall Guys came out on Steam and PS4 just a few days ago, and it’s already garnered a lot of attention, with over 2 million players on Steam alone. Those players even received a free reward from the game’s developer Mediatonic as thanks for its unexpected success. That’s led a lot of people to wonder if the silly battle royale game will come to Switch or Xbox in the coming months.

A recent quote from Mediatonic suggests that Fall Guys may soon come to other platforms, but only if fans speak up. “To start with, Fall Guys will only be available on PS4 and Steam,” the developers wrote. “We’d love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line. Please let us know on Twitter and Discord which platforms you’d like us to release on next – we’d love to see how much demand there is!”

According to several tweets from the developers, Mediatonic is working on the game’s ongoing server issues. They’re also aiming to add some new modes to the game’s current pool of 25.

As a more goofy, approachable take on the battle royale concept, Fall Guys has earned plaudits from fans and critics alike. In GameSpot’s 7/10 Fall Guys review, our critic Alessandro Barbosa called the game simple yet enjoyable. “It can be disheartening to have a game end prematurely due to uneven team matches and, worse still, when you’re forced into one of Fall Guys’ unsatisfying finale modes,” he wrote. “But neither are enough to derail the fun Fall Guys consistently generates, with its chaotic obstacle courses and earworm soundtrack ensuring you’ll be coming back for more.”
