I mean “technically” yes, because every time they want to develop something amazing on PS5/ Series X devs probably need to ask themselves the question “Will this also work the way we want it to on PS4/Xbox one”… but it’s still the beginning of the gen so beyond loading speeds and some assets/textures, it really shouldn’t be THAT a big deal.
I think it’s the NEXT Battlefield game that has to be current gen only, or it’ll definitely be felt by all players.
