TL;DR

  • Samsung has launched the Galaxy M52 5G in India.
  • The phone brings a large, fast display, the Snapdragon 778G, and a 5,000mAh battery.
  • Pricing starts at Rs 29,999.

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy M52 5G in India. The latest addition to the mid-range Galaxy M series brings a slew of flagship-level features at a lower price point.

We first saw teasers of the device earlier this month, and the official design largely matches up with these. This includes the vertical cameras with matching stripes at the rear and the central punch hole up front. That selfie camera is also set within the phone’s most attractive feature. A 6.7-inch AMOLED screen sits front and center, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080. It’s also slathered in Gorilla Glass 5.

Internally, you’re getting a Snapdragon 778G SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Also included are dual-SIM slots, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and support for 25W charging. However, only a 15W charger is included in the box to top up the 5,000mAh cell.

As for imaging, the selfie shooter packs a 32MP sensor, while a 64MP+12MP+5MP setup takes care of primary, ultra-wide, and macro shooting at the rear.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G pricing and availability

The punchy mid-ranger is now available in India in Icy Blue and Blazing Black colorways. Pricing starts a Rs 29,999 (~$405) for the 6GB option and jumps to Rs 31,999 (~$432) for the 8GB variant, with both models available on Amazon India from October 3.
