Google is joining the wearable business.
After creating the Wear OS framework for other smartwatches like the Samsung Galaxy Watch, Google is finally making its own watch: The Pixel Watch. Clever name, right? Anyway, Google’s new wearable was officially unveiled at Google I/O 2022, with a launch date of fall 2022 and more details to follow in the coming months. It has a circular watch face to go along with all the newest Wear OS 3 features and integrates with Pixel phones, such as the newly announced Pixel 6a.
