Save 35%: As of May 23, you can grab a refurbished KitchenAid Professional 600 6-quart stand mixer for just $260 at Walmart. You can also find that $140 markdown on KitchenAid’s website, where at least one more color is available at the same price.

If you’re talking about iconic kitchenware, you’re definitely mentioning KitchenAid. The brand’s stand mixers have earned household fame thanks to their power, style, and durability. (I’m 60% sure my parents own a KitchenAid mixer that predates me.)

That level of quality comes with a hefty price tag, but investing at the right time can save you a bunch of cash. And for those who don’t need their products brand new, the right time is now — the refurbished KitchenAid Professional 600 6-quart stand mixer is just $260 at Walmart (and KitchenAid’s website) as of May 23.

We know that when you type “stand mixer” in Amazon’s search bar you can find options under $100, but this particular refurbished KitchenAid usually goes for $400. The same model, brand new? $550. Plus, buying certified refurbished from KitchenAid means you’re getting a mixer that’s been returned in an unused or very lightly used condition, then inspected, cleaned thoroughly, and repackaged to look like new.

The Professional 600 can handle heavier mixtures with its 10 speeds and three beating attachments, whether you’re making a few dozen cookies or a loaf of bread. The 6-quart stainless steel won’t leave you wanting for space, but doesn’t broach into unnecessary-for-a-household-vaguely-industrial-sized territory.

You will be slightly limited on color options — Walmart offers the mixer in two shades of silver and a deep red. KitchenAid also offers these shades, plus the cool-blue “Ice” at this price point, but if you’re not in love with any of those, there are other options if you’re willing to pay anywhere from $30 to $70 more.
