Shinoff, just saying i am one of those older fans that has loved ff since ps1, and i am absolutely stoked for this one!!.
It legit looks proper epic, being able to directly control and battle again eikons i grew up with is amazing to me.
Every FF has always been a different game, i see no reason why that shouldn’t apply to the game play for the games as well.
as yoshi P said whenever a team gets to work a on FF game they should make it there own.
FFX had the best turned based combat for me ever and is my fave ff but this just looks next level.
yes its an action game now but the guy who did DMC5 combat is the one who made this system, so if its going down the action road they legit hired the best person you possibly could to ensure the combat will fire.
everyone crying about it should maybe put there money where there mouth is and buy games like bravely default and octopath traveller to show Square turned based games still sell millions of copies.
but no everyone cries while also not supporting what they supposedly want so much, if you own a switch id highly recommend Bravely default 2.
