Twitter reacts to historic SAG-AFTRA/WGA strike

For the first time in over 60 years, the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) are striking simultaneously.

The WGA has been on strike since May 2, demanding improvements in compensation and protections, among other asks. This afternoon, SAG president Fran Drescher announced that her organization would be joining writers on the picket line. Here is what people on Twitter have been saying about the historic move.
