If you found yourself craving more space action from Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, the trailer for Dune: Part Two has you covered. Here, the planet Arrakis becomes a full-blown war zone, complete with sword battles, massive explosions, and the greatest weapon of all, sandworms.

This new trailer sees Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and his mother Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) leading their Fremen allies in the fight against the evil Harkonnens. But is the involvement of these outsiders an aid to the Fremen, or just another way to enslave them? Chani (Zendaya) appears to believe the former, although her budding romance with Paul may conflict her emotions somewhat.

Meanwhile, Emperor Shaddam IV (Christopher Walken) plans to assassinate Paul with the help of skilled combatant Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen (Austin Butler, bald). The only problem? As Shaddam’s daughter Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh) so accurately puts it: “He’s psychotic.”

Don’t believe her? Just watch the slow way he sticks out his tongue to slice it with a knife. Or the way he immediately slices a Harkonnen attendant’s throat! Or how he rejoices in gladiatorial combat! Make no mistake, this is one terrifying adversary.

But Paul and the forces of Arrakis have something that no Harkonnen or Sardaukar army could ever dream of: Worm power! Sorry, I mean desert power. But the two are basically the same thing. This latest trailer treats us to not one, not two, but three sandworms riding valiantly into battle. Dune: Part Two isn’t even out yet, but dare I say the sandworm brigade is already the scene of the year?

Dune: Part Two opens in theaters March 1, 2024.
