Why anyone would trust Microsoft to make a new Banjo or Conker is beyond me. They remade Conker’s Bad Fur Day which was a safe thing to do (but the content didn’t age well) and Nuts and Bolts was not a great game at all.
Perhaps my memory is short, but even when I think back to the OG Xbox, I don’t feel like there’s any evidence to suggest they have any ability to do these franchises justice in the modern era.
To be fair, I think it’s just hard to do. I just don’t have faith in Microsoft doing it well.
