Golden Globes: Pedro Pascal reacts perfectly to Kieran Culkin’s speech burn

When it comes to big awards shows, the reactions from celebrity audience members often get talked about just as much as the moments they’re reacting to.

With Kieran Culkin’s Golden Globes joke about Pedro Pascal, though, it’ll probably be a bit of both.

Culkin took to the stage after picking up the award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series — Drama (joining a long list of Succession winners from the night), making an entertaining speech that would probably have had Roman Roy giggling.

The most memorable bit? Culkin randomly saying “Suck it, Pedro” to Pascal, who was also nominated in the category for his role in The Last of Us — and Pascal’s reaction to the joke, which he took from laughter to mock tears in the way only a skilful (and memeable) actor can.

It’s worth noting Culkin and Pascal have met each other before — they sat next to each other at a Hollywood Reporter roundtable last year, where they shared plenty of jokes and amusing moments at the time.
