See how once something becomes mainstream and popular they think they can do whatever they want. This is why people need to pushback with everything they’ve got when something seems “off”. No “it’s not that bad” or “well this other developer does this” bullshit, call it out, stick to your guns, let them learn and they should hopefully never do it again. If you don’t, well it’s like a cancer, it just spreads until the studio has become total shitpots.
