Arcade1Up has launched a few different NBA Jam cabinets over the years, including a cool Shaq Edition and the (sold out) compact countercade. The popular home arcade brand is now launching the Arcade1Up NBA Jam Deluxe 2-Player Arcade Machine, which arrives on August 8 and is officially up for preorder. These arcade machines tend to be popular, so we’d recommend reserving one if interested. You won’t be charged for your preorder until it ships.

This version of the arcade cabinet features three games–NBA Jam, NBA Jam: Tournament Edition, and NBA Hangtime. The control panel supports up to two players, and you can even take your matches online since the arcade is Wi-Fi enabled. The cabinet itself looks great, offering a slimmer design than many other machines in the Arcade1Up catalog, as well as a light-up marquee and striking graphics wrapping its front and sides. As a deluxe edition cabinet, it’s taller than regular Arcade1Up cabinets–so you don’t need a riser.
Other nice features include a 17-inch color display, dual speakers, a total height of over five feet tall, and 3D faux-molded coin doors to make this look like it truly belongs in an arcade.
If you’re looking to add NBA Jam to your game room before August, the Shaq Edition is still available at Amazon. It’s even on sale for $600 (down from $700) and features a control panel that supports four players instead of two. Like the above NBA Jam Deluxe, it comes with NBA Jam, NBA Jam: Tournament Edition, and NBA Hangtime. Give it a look if you want an arcade cabinet designed for four players.
