Pearl and Marina made their initial appearances as major characters in Splatoon 2. Co-hosts of Inkopolis News as well as the popular Splatfests, the Octoling Marina and Inkling Pearl comprised the two-member musical group Off the Hook in Splatoon 2. The pair made appearances in the Octo Expansion, the single-player campaign DLC, as well as Splatoon 3’s Side Order DLC campaign.
