Early access is never a bargain at any cost for any game it is a way for a publisher to extort money from you above what you paid for the game.
Early access is the true day 1 that only those who paid extra get don’t drink the cool aid.
Imagine going to a store and being told you can’t pick up your pre order despite it being behind the counter because you didn’t pay for the gold edition this is the same thing
