Hugh Grant is in creepy villain mode in A24’s new trailer for Heretic, writer/director team Scott Beck and Bryan Woods’ horror about two missionaries (Chloe East and Yellowjackets‘ Sophie Tatcher) paying a visit to a man who invites them into his house — only to trap them as part of a twisted game.
Unlike the first trailer, this new one is a montage from the perspective of Mr Reed (Grant) as he gets his house ready, placing tiny models in a maze and making sure the hidden lock behind his light switch is in working order — you know, as you do.
Heretic opens in theaters Nov. 8.
