The No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 2 Texas Longhorns will face off in the SEC Championship this week at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The match will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7, and is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.

Currently, Texas is poised to take the No. 2 seed in the College Football Playoffs. But, most likely, both teams will be part of the 12-team playoff format.

The Georgia vs. Texas football game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT start on ABC on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Chris Fowler is expected to do the play-by-play, while Kirk Herbstreit will join him in the booth as the analyst. Both Laura Rutledge and Holly Rowe will do the sideline reporting.
