With over 60 million downloads reported so far, Pokemon TCG Pocket is proving to be another smash-hit mobile game for Pikachu and his thousands of Pokemon pals. Those 60 million people have only had one set to work with–until next week, when the first expansion Mythical adds 80 new cards on December 17.

Mew is the featured Pokemon on the packs of this new expansion, which will also offer new binder and display-cover options. Other cards teased in the expansion’s reveal trailer are foil-bordered versions of Tauros, Supporter cards for Blue and Lass, and alternate art versions of Marshadow, Vaporeon, and Dedenne.

Two EX cards have also been revealed for the Mythical Island expansion: Mew EX and Aerodactyl EX. Their abilities are as follows:

  • Mew EX (Psychic Type)
    • 130 HP, retreat cost 1 Colorless energy
    • Attack 1: Psyshot (Requires one Psychic energy, deals 20 damage)
    • Attack 2: Genome Hacking (requires three Colorless energy)
      • Choose 1 of your opponent’s Active Pokemon’s attacks and use it as this attack.
  • Aerodactyl EX (Fighting Type, evolves from Old Amber)
    • 140 HP, retreat cost 1 Colorless energy
    • Ability: Primeval Law
      • Your opponent can’t play any Pokemon from their hand to evolve their Active Pokemon.
    • Attack: Land Crush (Requires one Colorless and one Fighting energy, deals 80 damage)

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket launched October 30 on iOS and Android devices, where it offers a new way to experience the Pokemon TCG, which originally launched in America in January 1999. Players can open free packs of cards daily, then use those cards to build decks and battle opponents in a streamlined version of the physical card game.
