Google’s viral Veo 3 is now available to all Gemini subscribers

Google’s Veo 3 took the world by storm when it was announced at I/O earlier this year. The state-of-the-art AI text-to-video generator marks a significant leap when it comes to using AI to generate media, specifically because of its ability to generate audio and dialogue that are accurately lip-synced.

Initially locked behind the tech giant’s new AI Ultra plan ($250/month), the tool expanded to Google AI Pro ($20/mo) users in select countries in late May, and it looks like Google is now ready to let even more users try out Veo 3.

A great chance to try it

The text-to-video generator is now rolling out globally, as pointed out by Google VP Josh Woodward (via 9to5Google), bringing Veo 3’s prowess to India, Indonesia, all countries in Europe, and more. In total, the tool is now available in 159 countries.

You’ll only get three video generations per day, so make sure the prompts you’re using are highly detailed and relevant to the result you envision. If you run out, you can try again the next day or continue with Veo 2. Google AI Ultra users get higher limits, though the specific number is currently unconfirmed.

Higher limits are on the table, but don’t hold your breath

Elsewhere, Woodward added that photo-to-video generation is almost ready to be integrated into Veo 3, so we’ll be looking forward to that. Additionally, in a comment reply to a user, Woodward also acknowledged the desire to offer more affordable access or higher daily limits for Veo 3. When that happens, though, is unclear.

Are you excited to try out Veo 3? What creative prompts or projects do you have in mind for your first few video generations? Let us know in the comments below.
