Stephen King has taken a break from slamming Donald Trump on social media and reviewing horror films to reveal an interesting top 10 list.
On Monday, the horror master took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his “10 favorite films”, excluding a few that are based on his own books.
“My 10 favorite movies (excluding MISERY, SHAWSHANK, GREEN MILE, STAND BY ME),” wrote King. “In no particular order.”

Interestingly the list has quite a mixture of genres, mostly films from the ’40s and ’70s, multiple Humphrey Bogart films, and there are only a couple of movies — Jaws and Close Encounters of the Third Kind – that are even close to horror.
