T-Mobile is giving away free lines, and you might be eligible

T-Mobile has been in the headlines a lot this year. From its then-CEO, Mike Sievert, stepping down, to launching its Starlink beta in early February. However, another major headline that keeps popping up is T-Mobile offering free lines to select customers, and they’re back at it again.

Now is your chance for a free line

T-Mobile is rolling out its free line promo again today. According to The Mobile Report, there’s a “Line On Us” promotion that adds a new line to your existing account. It doesn’t require that you purchase anyting to receive it, and all you’ll have to pay upfront is a $35 device connection charge. If you’re on a plan that excludes taxes and fees, you will have to pay monthly taxes on the new line.

Customers who are eligible should receive a text message about the deal, but if you want to check whether you’re eligible, you can head to your T-Life app to check for an alert. You can also go to a T-Mobile store and have an employee check if you have a “Loyalty BYOD Dec 2025” for the “Line On Us” offer with a promo ID of ID25079 on your account, as per Android Authority.

Currently, the exact qualifications for the promotion are known only to T-Mobile. However, the standard baseline qualifications likely apply. Usually, the free line promotions are offered to customers who have at least two paid lines on their account, which is the case for similar deals that have been run previously.

One small note, however, if you qualify for the promotion and accept it, you have to bring your own device, as you will not be able to finance a phone through T-Mobile on the free line.
