What’s great about the Galaxy Watch 8?
The Galaxy Watch 8 features a completely redesigned look compared to Samsung’s previous offerings. And while some might not like it, I still think it looks good, offering a minimalist design that can work for any occasion. But since things like this are subjective, you’ll want to have a look for yourself to see if it fits the ideal style you’re going for.
The 40mm model, along with the 44mm version are both on sale through Woot. However, we’ll be focusing on the former, featuring a large 1.3-inch screen that’s bright and vibrant. You won’t have a problem reading this screen in most conditions, reaching up to 3,000 nits of brightness when needed.
As for what we loved about this device, it features a sleek, lightweight design, delivers comprehensive health and fitness tracking, and comes with fantastic software thanks to Samsung’s One UI customizations. Samsung has pledged to offer four years of updates for the watch, which should keep it feeling fresh for years to come.
For the most part, you can’t go wrong here. It’s a great Wear OS watch that’s perfect for most wrists. Again, we think you’ll like it, especially at its newly discounted price.
