We’ve covered the Garmin epix Pro (Gen 2) smartwatch before, and for anyone who’s looking for a wearable that’s focused on health and fitness metrics, this one is hard to beat. That’s especially the case when it goes on sale, because at the right price, it becomes a no-brainer.

Well, if you’ve been thinking about picking up the Garmin epix Pro (Gen 2), the Sapphire Edition is now on sale. Amazon is offering a steep discount that knocks $500 off, coming down 50% from MSRP, costing just $500 right now. The $500 price tag might sound steep for a watch, but it’s well worth it, and we don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

This watch can really do it all

The epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire Edition delivers on pretty much every level, easily keeping track of all your daily activities. It can also track stress levels and sleep quality, giving you a better complete picture of your body and how it’s working throughout your day.

There are sensors on board to provide heart rate, pulse ox, step counts, and even your location. You get maps built-in and access to even more using the accompanying Garmin app. Plus, the build quality on this watch is absolutely solid.

Garmin has built this watch to handle all kinds of terrain and weather, making it as durable as possible using a fiber-reinforced polymer case, titanium, and sapphire. And the battery life can last up to ten days on a single charge, which is absolutely fantastic.

There’s a built-in flashlight, and you can stay connected with text and notifications from your smartphone. Garmin Pay will allow you to pay for things at terminals, even without your wallet. Again, this watch can really do it all without breaking a sweat.
