The First Descendant Players Are Sure That Adding One Simple Option to the Inventory Would Be a Massive QoL Boost

Getting swamped with various loot can be annoying. On that note, The First Descendant players are sure that adding one simple option to the Inventory would be a massive QoL improvement

Being a looter-shooter game, the players are undoubtedly full of loot. But the best (or worst) part is that you won’t be using the same loadout for every character. You may even use a different loadout on the same Descendant, depending on the mission. That all leads to our inventories being full of various Reactors and External Components, which all kinda look the same. Filtering through all of them, whether for dismantling or to find that one specific item, is a tiring job, but the fans have an idea. The players are sure that adding one simple option to the Inventory (Reactors and External Components) would be a massive QoL boost in The First Descendant.

Adding One Simple Option to the Inventory Screen Would Be a Massive QoL Boost in The First Descendant, Players Claim

If only there was a way to sort out all the Reactors…Well, it is what a lot of players are asking for, and that would definitely make everyone’s lives easier. If that is a bit complicated to make as a feature (truth be told, there are a LOT of variables), some players have a good idea.

One easy way to help sort out our Reactors would be to have the option to rename them. This was proposed in a Reddit thread, where the players, like denkirilargo477 added: “This would be a godsend. The handful of letters and symbols just ain’t cutting the mustard these days. Let me name everything so I can organize!”, and “Would be much easier to sort the Reactors I’m using that are currently in my inventory.” added Cratoic.

Other users chime in with similar suggestions, such as the option to have a character-specific inventory for Reactors and External Components, or the ability to search our External Components by Set, so we can easily check which ones we are missing.

Small changes like this are probably not that difficult to implement, but would have a positive impact on the game and the QoL in general. The devs did mention that they are working on something similar, so we expect to see improvements like these in Season 3.
