Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro receive Stability Update

Samsung didn’t leave the previous-generation Galaxy Buds behind after launching the latest model of the popular wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 4. The company has released a new software update for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

A stability update has arrived for the Galaxy Buds Pro 3

If you translate the changelog screenshot posted to the Samsung Community in South Korea, the update appears to mainly focus on bringing stabilization improvements to the previous-generation earbuds, rather than introducing any new features. That said, this update should make it easier to live with the Buds 3 Pro if you already have them. This comes after Samsung pushed an update for the Galaxy Buds 4 at the end of April.

The new update for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is about 8.28MB in size, and reportedly carries the firmware version R360XXU0AZD2, according to Samsung Community. If you want to check it out, you might have to wait, as the update is currently only live in South Korea, Samsung’s home country.

The update will eventually expand to more regions; however, Samsung hasn’t said whether it’s coming to Galaxy Buds 3 Pro owners outside South Korea. Given the company’s rollout history with other wearables, the update could take up to a month. However, it may not be the same every time, so there is a chance it could come early.

If you want to manually check whether the update has launched in your region, open the Samsung Wearable app, then go to Earbuds settings > Earbuds software update > Download and install. After that, tap Install Now to download and install on your earbuds.

Just a quick disclaimer: the earbuds may not be available while the update is being installed.
