T-Mobile just dropped an $800 trade-in offer that covers the entire Pixel 10

Every now and then, carriers drop deals that don’t just feel like the same recycled promos we see every other week, and T-Mobile’s latest deal is just that.

If you’re on T-Mobile’s network and have been eyeing the Pixel 10, this new targeted promotion might just be for you.

I used to joke about T-Mobile’s network — now I use it more than AT&T

I switched over and love the results

First highlighted by users on Reddit, this deal isn’t available to all T-Mobile users. Instead, it is an exclusive member-only offer for select ‘loyal’ customers (via Android Authority).

At its core, the promotion is essentially T-Mobile offering $800 in trade-in credits, which covers the entire cost of a base Pixel 10, the phone that T-Mobile is offering for free with the promo.

If you’ve been offered the promotion, there’s only one thing that you need to do to actually qualify: you need to trade in a device.

This isn’t charity

According to the promotional terms, you can trade in any ‘eligible’ phone, regardless of its condition. Customer reports indicate that T-Mobile is even accepting devices with cracked screens, making this an exceptionally lenient deal.

To check if you’re eligible, head to the T-Life app and check the ‘Promotions Available’ section.

There are a few things worth noting. You will incur a $35 “device connection charge.” Plus, T-Mobile isn’t simply giving you the $800 trade-in credits at once. The $800 is distributed as $33.33 monthly bill credits over 24 months, which means you’d need to stay with the carrier for two years at the very least.

During those two years, you’d need to be on an ‘Experience More’ tier with plans starting at $85 per month.

Ultimately, this deal is a clear win for those that are already on one of T-Mobile’s premium plans or were already planning to upgrade. If you have a beat-up phone collecting dust in the drawer, that’s even better!
