Expedition 33 swept just about every award ceremony after catapulting its way to the top of so many Game of the Year lists in 2025, including GameSpot’s. While the game is packed with beautifully written, endearing characters that are easy to fall in love with, Esquie is a standout, and now Good Smile Company has added him to its Nendoroid collectible line. Preorders are open now for the lovable creature, which retails for $46 and will be released between April and June of 2027.

Expedition 33 has its share of deeply sad moments, but they’re countered by the delightful Esquie, who is buoyant (literally) with the joy of life (Or joie de vivre, as the French say). Like all Nendoroids, Esquie is fully poseable and comes with a tiny Francois doll and an expedition headband. You can pose him using the clear plastic base he comes on, or swap it out for a black one with the game’s logo in gold. Ordering through Good Smile nets you a special bonus: a background sheet of Esquie’s Nest that can serve as a display background.
Esquie retails for $46 and will be released in 2027 sometime between April 1 and June 30. One thing to note about the preorder is that it’s only open until July 1, 2026. If you have preordered and the date passes, you can’t cancel the preorder. Good Smile charges customers 2-3 weeks before the confirmed shipping date, so keep an eye out.
