Samsung’s new tech builds upon the existing ‘Good Sleep’ feature, allowing Samsung wearables to talk to the South Korean tech giant’s air conditioners. The new feature is called ‘WindFree Wearable Good Sleep,’ and it only works with the 2026 Bespoke line (via SammyFans).
It aims to keep your room at an ideal temperature throughout the night. How does it determine the ‘ideal temperature’? You may ask. By using real-time data from your Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring.
When paired with the new ACs, your Galaxy Ring and Watch can detect and signal when your body transitions from being awake to asleep.
During the initial ‘falling asleep’ stage, the AC maintains its cold temperature to make it easier for you to fall asleep. During the deep sleep stages, the AC transitions to a slightly warmer temperature. This is achieved by setting the AC at a higher temperature or entirely shutting it off.
The AC does this several times per night depending on your individual sleep pattern.
If you own Samsung’s latest Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioners, you can leverage the feature by first installing the SmartThings app on your Galaxy Watch or Ring and connecting the AC to your home Wi-Fi. From there, you can configure the feature directly on your watch via the ‘Sleep well with smart devices’ menu.
