As of May 29, Amazon has dropped the price of the LG 27-inch UltraGear OLED gaming monitor to $499.99 — 44% off from its usual $899.99 list price. With this new lowest-ever price (confirmed with price tracker camelcamelcamel), you’re getting a 27-inch OLED panel with QHD 2560×1440 resolution — an affordable halfway point that’s a jump over 1080p but not as intensive as 4K.

As for speed, this particular UltraGear model boasts a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, so fast-moving games should feel especially smooth — whether you’re having a few rounds of League of Legends or playing the biggest new single-player cinematic adventures like 007: First Light.
