How To Fast Travel In Mina The Hollower

May 29, 2026

The island that Mina The Hollower takes place in is deceptively large. Making your way from one dungeon to another to find Trinkets, Sidearms, and anything else you might have missed can take a long time. Heck, one of the Mina The Hollower secret bosses would take an eternity to find if it wasn’t for the existence of fast travel, and as it turns out, there are a couple of dungeons that either optionally or mandatorily require you to take advantage of them to enter.

While nowhere near as much of a pain in the butt to get to as Bone Beach, it’s not immediately obvious that you need to open up some switches only accessible via the mirror portals. On top of that, the train to Coltrane Peak is the most convenient way to reach this snowy area, but it’s locked. This guide will help you work out where to find the mirrors and how to unlock the train in Mina The Hollower, reaching those final two areas in the open-world game.

All Mina The Hollower mirror locations

There are seven mirrors you can find in Mina The Hollower, and six require you to walk into them for a few seconds to transport you over to the first area of the Astral Orrery (the seventh is the exception, being the exit to the Astral Orrery’s generator). While the Radiant Manor mirror is the main gateway to the Orrery, you’ll need to find at least a few of the other five and activate the switches to flip the platforms and pave the way to the main dungeon to the north of the Mirror’s End hub area. Here are all five mirror locations that you need to find to unlock Astral Orrey:

The Queensbury Crypt mirror is near the merchant.

Queensbury Crypt: Statue Head Hall

In the chamber where there are two statues on either side of a spike blockade, there is a set of tunnels to the left leading to a merchant, and two other tunnels leading to a path to collect a Boneshard Crystal. Look at the candles on the other side of the room from the merchant’s tunnel and burrow into it. You’ll find the mirror here.

Watch the character carefully to see how he interacts with the mirror.

Nox’s Bayou: Moonlit Path

After you beat the Mock Moon subboss in Nox’s Bayou, head through the path to the north. You’ll witness a man going into the mirror in this room before taking control. Follow him to access the Astral Orrery.

The Septemburg mirror is in the farm area with a lot of crow enemies.

Septemburg: Farm House

When you reach Crow Town, head to the house on the southwest corner. It’s the one with the woman on the balcony and a red chest containing one of the Mina The Hollower weapon upgrades. Approach from the left side and go to the front door. As you walk away, a crow will burst through. Enter it and use the torches and enemies to set the leaf piles on fire, then destroy the box to access the mirror. Make sure you activate the switch and collect the nearby Spark Container.

Check every area of the Stomach Caves to find a tent containing this mirror.

Bone Beach: Worm’s Back

After you make your way through the first part of the Stomach Caves, you’ll find a small tent on the Worm’s Back. Burrow into it, and you’ll find the mirror on the other side.

After a miniboss, you’ll find another mirror in Coltrane Peak.

Coltrane Peak: Icebound Cavern

Once you have slain the Frozen Horror, head north and burrow through the tunnel to your right. You can then burrow into this last tunnel to fully unlock Astral Orrery.

It’ll cost 10,000 Bones to unlock the train station.

All Mina The Hollower train station locations

The other way to fast travel in Mina The Hollower is to hop on a train and reach your destination in no time. However, there is a catch: you need to raise enough funds to restore train travel, 10,000 Bones to be exact. They don’t have to be all at once, but any you’ve collected can be deposited at any train station. Once they’re running, you can then go to any of the areas you’ve previously discovered, as well as Coltrane Peak.

Two things of note about the train. The first is that there is a secret shop if you travel from Bone Beach to Nox’s Bayou. Simply take that train route and head to the Coupling area to find Vitas, who will sell you a valuable Mina The Hollower Trinket. Secondly, there is also a hidden Mina The Hollower cloak if you burrow through the second door on the interior, but you’ll need some Kears to access it. Make sure you have some before coming back.

  • Ossex: Bowery – the main train station is to the north of this area, close to the Western Hills exit.
  • Backwaters: Shanty Swamp – this one is in the southeast corner of the second main screen (the one with the platforms and bugs). Use this exit to find the station.
  • Kindlewood: Farm Crossing – you can’t really miss this one as it’s just before the screen to the Schoolhouse, leading into Septemburg.
  • Sandfalls: Sandy Station – this is the area south of Sifted Sands, so head to the bottom right corner, detonate the TNT that’s there, and you’ll find the station.
  • Coltrane Peak: Frigid Station – you’ll either arrive in Coltrane Peak via this station, or find it after scaling the mountain north of Eastern Heath.
Three burrows will take you to other parts of Mina’s world.

Poppit Shop Fast Travel

While the mirrors let you fast travel to the main dungeon levels and the train stations give you quick access to the sub-areas, there is also a way to fast travel around the three bordering areas to Ossex. Once you have found all three Poppit Shop locations, you’ll be able to hop into one of the three holes in Grinnsly’s lair. The tiles in front of each one indicate where you will go, but here they are in order from left to right:

  • Western Wilds: Molten Foundry – red tile with cracks and a brown hole.
  • Southern Outskirts: Commons – orange square tile with blue hole.
  • Eastern Heath: Grassland – grey square tile with dark grey hole.
