TL;DR: Verizon is offering customers the chance to win free tickets to the 2026 FIFA World Cup through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app on June 1.
The countdown has begun for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off on June 11.
Of course it’s going to be great to watch the matches unfold from the comfort of your home, but experiencing the hype live is unmatched. If you’ve been hoping to attend the World Cup in person, Verizon is offering an incredible opportunity for its customers to score free tickets.
On June 1, Verizon is holding a massive ticket drop for its customers. Over 2,500 free tickets across 64 matches are set to drop in every single U.S. host city. If that’s caught your attention, you’ll want to make sure you have the My Verizon app. According to Verizon’s press release, “All tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis exclusively through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app.”
And it’s not just regular tickets up for grabs. Verizon notes that “Hundreds of extra lucky winners will get to score “Golden Tickets” to watch a portion of the game pitchside.” This kind of opportunity doesn’t come around often.
