Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event is just a few weeks away at this point. Although Samsung hasn’t officially announced the event just yet, early leaks have suggested that the event will take place in July. July 22nd to be precise.
It’s all but confirmed that we’ll see new foldables at the event, including a wide-screen one, in addition to the South Korean tech giant’s annual smartwatch upgrade.
Galaxy Watch 9 leak hints at three new models, plus a borrowed feature from Google
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 9 may get the Pixel Watch 4’s best trick
The upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 have now appeared on an official regulatory database, all but confirming their arrival and a key spec.
The development was pointed out by the folks over at SammyGuru.
The tech giant gained 3C certification for models SM-L3550 and SM-L7150. Said models have previously been identified as the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2, respectively.
In addition to confirming the devices’ existence, the listing also confirms that both wearables will offer 10W charging support (5V/2A), which happens to be the same as their respective predecessors.
The certification, for both devices, was issued on June 3, making the development fairly recent.
This follows a recent leak that indicated that the Galaxy Watch 9 will feature a 435mAh battery. That is the same mAh count as the Galaxy Watch 8.
We don’t know much about the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2’s battery capacity.
