We’re just shy of a month away from Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked, where we’ll likely see the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, but until then, we have leaks and today has brought a few of them.
Health and fitness features
If leaker @GalaxyTechie is to be believed, we have a preview of some new health and fitness features.
In a pair of posts on X with the eyes emoji and the words “Final Wave” are eight images of screens on the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
On one of them, you can see a new Heart Health Score feature that Samsung announced earlier this month and that has been rolling out to Galaxy Watch models.
Another screen shows a Hearing feature. It should alert users to the noise level of their surrounding area. It’s a valuable metric to have to prevent hearing loss from sustained exposure to loud sounds.
There is a glimpse of the Vitals Score that Samsung also has announced. It analyzes five health metrics during sleep: heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, skin temperature, and blood oxygen.
A Trail Run screen displayed on the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 shows a map feature. There haven’t been any further leaks regarding this potential new feature.
An even more intriguing possible feature is teased with a screen that has a water droplet icon at the top and the words “Measurement begins when you’re underwater.”

Color options, sizes, and connectivity for both new watches
As much as features are top of mind for potential buyers, the available colors of a new smartwatch is a major concern for them as well since it will accompany them nearly everywhere.
DigitalCitizen published details about the colors of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy models.
The 40mm Galaxy Watch 9 is expected to be available in Cream and Graphite, while the 44mm size will be available in Graphite and Silver. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is rumored to be available in Titanium Gray and Titanium Silver.
As for connectivity, both models of the Galaxy Watch 9 will have Bluetooth-only and LTE variants. As for the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, it will have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LTE connectivity.
A new look for the Samsung Galaxy Ultra Watch
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 could get a slightly more distinctive look, according to another @GalaxyTechie leak that 9to5Google reported on.
The posts have disappeared, but they showed a boxier watch with thinner bezels than the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra has.
We should be able to see if these rumors all bear out when the watches make an appearance at a Galaxy Unpacked event that’s expected at the end of July.
