This Excellent Guitar Controller Gets Its Lowest Price To Date

June 23, 2026

Guitar Hero and Rock Band may have faded in popularity, but there are still a number of games that make use of guitar-controller peripherals, and if you’re looking to get your hands on one of the best, the PDP Riffmaster wireless guitar controller is on sale for $80 (down from $150) during Amazon’s Prime Day 2026 sale. This price applies to all three versions for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo.

The PDP Riffmaster is compatible not just with games like Rock Band 4, but also with Fortnite Festival–the game has led to something of a resurgence for the rhythm-game genre, giving players a reason to pull their plastic instruments out of storage. The controller sports a metal-inspired design rather than the Stratocasters and Les Pauls we’ve seen from these games in the past.

The rechargeable battery included with the controller will last up to 36 hours, so you can have marathon music sessions, and with a 30-foot wireless connection, you’ll have plenty of room to rock out during those intense solos.

If you want some gaming earbuds to jam out with while you’re shredding on the guitar controller, the official PlayStation Pulse Wireless Earbuds are currently $100 (down from $200). The standard PS5 DualSense controllers are also on sale at Target, with many well below their usual $80 price tags.

We’re going to see lots more deals like these on a variety of gaming peripherals for Prime Day, both at Amazon and via competing retailers. The event runs from June 23-26 this year, and you can keep track of the latest deals with our Prime Day Hub.
