The countdown to Samsung‘s Unpacked event is officially on. If leaks and rumors are to be believed, the event could be scheduled for July 22. If that is indeed the case, the event is less than a week away at this point.

For what it’s worth, we’ve already heard so much that it feels like the South Korean tech giant’s big event is right around the corner. We already knew quite a lot about Samsung’s upcoming foldables, and with today’s leak, we finally know about their color palette too.

Samsung’s wider Z Fold 8 might have tougher glass than the Ultra

Thicker glass, fewer creases

For those unaware, we’re expecting three foldables from Samsung this time around. There’s the iterative Flip upgrade with the Z Flip 8, but that’s where the familiarity ends.

We’re getting two book-style foldables this time around. There’s the iterative Z Fold 8 upgrade, but there’s also going to be a new wide-screen alternative.

The naming convention is confusing. The regular book-style foldable will be called the ‘Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra,’ while the new wide-screen foldable will be called the ‘Galaxy Z Fold 8.’

With that out of the way, leaks and rumors are now shifting away from naming, and towards the upcoming devices’ color palette and storage.

Regulatory filings spill the details

As shared by the folks over at Digital Citizen (via 9to5Google), here’s Samsung’s upcoming lineup’s colorways.

Z Flip 8

Z Fold 8

  • Cream
  • Graphite
  • Lavender
  • Pistachio

Z Fold 8 Ultra

  • Cream
  • Graphite
  • Green Shadow
  • Violet Shadow

Cream and Graphite are consistent across the lineup, with two exclusive colors each for each upcoming device. Beyond the colorways, the leak also sheds light on storage configurations.

Both of Samsung’s upcoming book-style foldables will boast 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. The Z Flip 8, on the other hand, will be available in 256GB and 512GB options.

Expect more concrete leaks about Samsung’s upcoming lineup in the upcoming weeks.
