The Switch 2 was never meant to be tethered to an entertainment center. It’s designed to go with you wherever you go, but the dock very much isn’t. If you’re looking to travel with your Switch 2 for an extended period of time, it can be nice to just bring the whole kit with you. There are plenty of Switch 2 carrying cases out there, but most of them can only store the console in handheld mode and a couple of game cards.
