Prime Cardholders Can Get A 25% Discount On A PS5 Digital With This Prime Day Deal

June 26, 2026

Amazon Prime Day is in full swing with an impressive variety of deals on controllers, AirPods, collectible books, video games, and more. If you happen to be shopping with any Amazon Prime credit card, you’ll also get access to an additional deal: a 25% discount on the 825GB PlayStation 5 Digital Console–that’s the version that’s digital download only, no disc drive for using physical copies of games. Normally $599, the discount cuts the price down to $449, bringing it down below the asking price for a refurbished PS5 Digital (you’ll have to add the console to your Amazon cart to see the promotional price). That’s worth noting since Sony increased the price of all PS5 models in April. Just keep in mind this deal ends June 27, and there’s a chance it could sell out before then.

The PS5 Digital doesn’t come with a controller though, so you might want to add one to your cart. Which is good news for Prime Visa cardholders, you can save an additional 10% off the DualSense Wireless Controller when using your card to pick one up. You can get the same discount on the DualSense Marathon Controller and the DualSense Edge in Midnight Black and White.

The PS5 Digital might not have a disc drive, but beyond that it’s identical to the regular version. If you’re worried you’ll regret not having a disc drive though, the good news is that you can buy a separate disc drive for $80 if you change your mind. The system also comes with Astro’s Playroom pre-installed, so you can play something right away.

More PS5 And Xbox Console Deals

If you’re shopping around for other console hardware deals, Amazon is also selling the Xbox Series S 512GB for $380 (was $400). While that might not sound like a massive discount at its current price, Microsoft announced it is raising the prices of all Xbox consoles starting August 1, at which point this Xbox Series S model will cost $500, and the Xbox Series X will cost $800.

Then, over at Best Buy, you can bundle Grand Theft Auto VI preorders with an eligible new or refurbished PS5, PS5 Pro, or Xbox Series X|S console and get a free $50 Best Buy gift card. That a nice perk regardless of which console you pick up, but it’s an especially good deal if you grab a refurbished model since they’re often around $50-$100 cheaper than buying one new (and, therefore, much more affordable than many of these devices will be in the future).

Amazon’s Prime card bonuses go way beyond gaming, offering up to 25% cash back on hundreds of items during Prime Day. These discounts only last for two more days, so keep them in mind to squeeze all the money you can out of Amazon.
