Perhaps the biggest catch with Mint Mobile is that you have to pay for everything up front. So, for this promotion, you’ll be expected to pay $540 when you sign the contract. It’s a hefty sum for most people, but the discount, on the other hand, is pretty sweet.
Mint Mobile does share that you can save $10/month on its home internet plan if you have a phone plan with the carrier already. However, online you can only get the deal with a 12-month contract. So, if you’re already a customer, it might be a good idea to call in to customer service.
Another thing that you’ll want to check is if Mint Mobile can provide service in your area. We don’t think that will be an issue for most, but home internet is a little different than its phone plans.
