Why this $200 phone is a great choice for most people

Although we can recommend a few phones, we think the Moto G Power will hit the sweet spot for most people. Not only does the phone look good, but it also offers good performance, excellent battery life, and a price that can’t be ignored. While the MSRP of $300 is okay, the discounted price of $200 makes it much more alluring.

It will get you through everything

While we love the brand’s flip phones, Motorola excels at making phones like the Moto G Power. Not only are you getting a large 6.8-inch 120Hz screen, but you’re getting plenty of power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip that’s paired with 8GB of RAM.

There’s also 128GB of storage that’s expandable using a microSD card. A 5,000mAh battery will easily get most people through a day, and there’s wired and wireless charging up to 30W. The phone has a 50MP main camera and 8MP ultrawide, along with a 16MP front-facing camera.

You aren’t going to get the best results in dim environments, but for everything else, the cameras will be good enough. This device launched with Android 15 and is set to get its final update with Android 17. As of now, the update has not been released. Again, for $200, it isn’t a bad way to go.
