You get a compact body with impressive picture quality, including video up to 8K at 30 frames per second.
It’s the price that matters right now
We knew this camera was good, even at its original retail price of $400. However, it becomes harder to ignore when it drops to $310. That’s one of the lowest prices we’ve seen. So what makes the Insta360 a keeper?
Well, it’s a performer, offering great video and image quality in all kinds of environments. It does this with its 1/1.3-inch sensor, which can capture video at 8K and images at 50MP.
The key features that make the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 so good are FlowState Stabilization and Horizon Lock. This delivers video output that almost looks unreal because it stays steady, even in the most challenging environments.
In addition, you get a 2.5-inch touchscreen flip display, making it easy to see what you’re capturing. Plus, the three-microphone setup intelligently captures audio the way you want, and the IPX8 rating makes it great around water.
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 isn’t for everyone, but I know people who rely on it as their daily driver when they travel, and the results are stunning. At this price, there isn’t much to lose.
