Are you looking for the hidden Uriash Village in The Blood of Dawnwalker? This settlement is in a far-flung region that most humans can’t even reach. In fact, it will remain accessible to Coen unless you’re able to tackle some pre-requisite tasks.

Song of the Mountain – The Hidden Uriash Village

The hidden Uriash Village in The Blood of Dawnwalker, which is in the western corner of the map, can’t be visited under normal circumstances. If you attempt to climb up the mountainous area west of Rockfalls, a prompt will tell you that you’re not allowed to go any further, causing you to respawn some distance away.

To gain access to it, you must first meet a vampiress named Lacra. You can learn about all the info in our A Friend Like This guide.

After completing A Friend Like This, you’ll be able to speak with an uriash prisoner. Spare him and tell him that you’ll avoid killing the uriash in the village. This makes the Song of the Mountain quest appear in your journal. If you track it, you’ll see that your next task is to meet up with Lacra in Crown Rock. Since Lacra is a vrakhiri, you can only do this quest at night.

Lacra wants you to go with her to the village.

Traveling with Lacra

Here’s what you need to know about The Blood of Dawnwalker Song of the Mountain quest:

  • After talking to Lacra in Crown Rock, she’ll goad you into feeding on an unwary shepherd. Tell her that the experience is “an excellent one” to avoid offending her.
  • Continue along the mountain pass. If you see vertical cliff faces, use your Shadowstep and Planeshift to traverse the area.
  • At certain points, you have to fight wild animals, including wolves and bears.

Drink the blood of the shepherd (left) and slay some beasts (right).

The troublesome trolls

Save your game when you’re almost at the summit. That’s because the uriashi matriarch and her cohorts will appear. They’ll start pelting Coen with rocks, all while Lacra insists that you need to make them pay for their insolence.

You’ll be presented with numerous dialogue options, and one mistake might lead to all-out hostilities. Here’s what we did to ensure a peaceful resolution:

  • “All right, fine.”
  • “Lacra, calm down.”
  • “Nobody needs to die.”
  • “Can we stop with the hostilities?”
  • “We’ve already proven it.”
  • “What more proof do you need?”
  • [Do nothing] – Twice.
  • “It’s clearly a test–go on.”
  • [Do nothing]

If you did it right, the uriashi matriarch, Bakr-Erga, will tell her warriors to stand down. She’ll then lead you to the settlement.

The uriashi will keep trolling you. Keep your cool so you can enter the settlement peacefully.

That does it for our guide on where to find the hidden Uriash Village in The Blood of Dawnwalker. The settlement itself has a fast travel shrine and several vendors–i.e. the matriarch sells almost every Witchcraft skill manual in the game.

From here, you can keep doing Lacra’s quests, until such time that you’re able to unlock her romance scene. You can also help the matriarch get her daughter back. We’ve got the details for you in our Ocha: The Heart Wants What It Wants guide.
