As of Sept. 7, the DJI Mini 3 is down to $315, saving you $104 from the list price of £419. That’s a generous 25% discount. It’s not this drone’s lowest ever price on Amazon, but it’s flying pretty close.
As the name suggests, the DJI Mini 3 is little — a palm-sized device that weighs just 249g. But it’s also kind of mighty, with robust wind resistance, a transmission distance of 10km, and the capability to shoot 4K footage.
In terms of actual footage capture, the DJI Mini 3 comes equipped with DJI’s range of video features and flying tricks. It has a Dronie mode for drone selfies, a self-explanatory Circle mode for circling subjects, plus a spiraling Helix mode and a Rocket mode that focuses on a subject below as the drone zooms up vertically. All of which means you’ll have a blast using this camera drone.
It doesn’t have obstacle avoidance, so you’ll need to control it manually. But that’s all part of the fun. DJI is the name in drone tech, and this one is perfect for casual use and beginners.
