Walmart’s much sought-after Onn 4K Pro box is seemingly back in stock at a number of stores. If you’re looking for a great streaming box for your TV, then this highly-rated streaming box is a great one to grab.
It comes at an especially good time, given the Google TV Streamer’s recent heavy price bump. Now the Onn 4K Pro is back in stock, there’s no reason to buy Google’s overpriced version.
The Onn 4K Pro is great by itself
But Google’s recent price rises make it a must-buy
Walmart’s Onn 4K Pro is the must-buy device that’s been extremely hard to buy. The entire range of Onn devices have been plagued with stock issues ever since they were revealed to be excellent for the price, and even price rises found it hard to dent their aura. Now priced at $60, you might expect its price rise to have made it a less tempting buy.
But that ignores that everyone is having price rises, and crucially, so has the Onn’s chief competitor, the Google TV Streamer. Google’s own streaming box has risen by a staggering $50, making it $150. You can buy two-and-a-half Onn 4K Pro devices for the price of one Google TV Streamer.
The Onn 4K Pro has gone through some cosmetic changes since we reviewed it, but the core of the device is much the same, and it’s still just as good as it was. Providing 4K Ultra UHD and Dolby Vision, it’s a fantastic choice for anyone who wants to get the most out of their 4K TV, but doesn’t want to pay more when they don’t have to.
Plus, for the more budget-conscious, you can also buy the Onn 4K or Onn 4K Plus models. Though, those devices aren’t that much cheaper than the Pro model though, so you may just want to pay the little bit extra.
If you’re planning on grabbing one of these, make sure to do it as quickly as you can. These models definitely have a history of selling out quickly, and we wouldn’t expect these to last long.
