Folding phones are back, big time. With the Apple Duo, Huawei Pura X Max Wide, and the Xiaomi 18 Fold, we have some awesome advancements coming to the market. But if you’re on team Samsung, you know all about the Galaxy Z Fold8, including the steep price. Amazon, however, is offering some respite.
As of Sept. 16, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is on sale at Amazon for $1,849.99, down from the normal price of $2,099.99. That’s a 12% discount.
Mashable Tech Editor Timothy Beck Werth went hands-on with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and wrote, “This passport-style foldable has a huge inner display that lets you do so much more with your phone.” In addition to the awesome design and display, the Snapdragon chip is capable of heavy multitasking and gaming. The wide screen is undeniably a great choice for those who edit photos on their phone, stream shows, or use it as an e-reader.
Even though the inner AMOLED display measures a hefty 7.6 inches, the phone only weighs 201 grams with thickness measuring just 4.5mm. That’s small enough to still fit in your pocket.
