Thursday Night Football kicks off with an NFC North vs. South showdown tonight, as the Carolina Panthers visit the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers have a better season record than the Panthers — the Packers are 4-3 while the Panthers are 3-3 — but there’s a major disparity in their current ranking. Green Bay are languishing at the bottom of NFC North, but Carolina are riding high at the top of NFC South.

The Packers are looking for a win after the Detroit Lions ended their three-game winning streak last Sunday. The Panthers want to bounce back following a heavy loss to the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
