Titled WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones, the PC title puts players in control of the braided red-headed mascot to “battle Mech Corp’s mechs, solve puzzles, and embark on an epic quest to unite four magical stones to save Savoria.” Listed as “Coming Soon” with an active storefront page on Steam, the game’s reception seems to have shifted from bewildered eye-rolls to genuine fascination.
The project is developed by independent Canadian studio 81monkeys, the creators behind World of Anterra, and is slated to launch on PC as a free-to-play title on Nov. 4.
Notably, the developers stamped the official Steam listing with a direct point of pride: the game is “100% fresh and 100% human made,” with zero generative AI assets used in production.
