The Bose SoundLink Plus is a mid-size portable Bluetooth speaker built for people who want bigger sound without jumping to a huge speaker. It sits between the smaller Flex and larger Max in Bose’s lineup, and there’s a strong deal on Amazon right now that makes it a lot more tempting.
Bose designed the SoundLink Plus for outdoor use, with IP67 dust and water resistance along with shock and rust resistance. It also packs up to 20 hours of battery life, so it’s made for long days away from a charger. The USB-C port can do more than power the speaker too, since it can also charge a phone or another small device when needed.
For sound, the Bose SoundLink Plus is described as full and bass-forward for its size, with group listening in mind rather than tiny, ultra-portable use. It also supports Bluetooth multipoint, which means it can stay paired with two devices at once for easier switching. Bose also includes app support and pairing features, including stereo pairing with another compatible speaker.
Now for the deal. The Bose SoundLink Plus Portable Bluetooth Speaker is down to $179 on Amazon, from its $269 recommended retail price. That’s a $90 discount, or 33% off the RRP. This is back to the all-time low, which makes now a great time to grab one if this speaker has been on your list. It also carries a strong 4.6-star Amazon rating, which adds to the appeal.
