The latest book in Patrick Rothfuss’ Kingkiller Chronicle fantasy series, The Narrow Road Between Desires, just released a few weeks ago on November 14, but it’s already on sale for a big discount at Amazon. You can grab the best-selling fantasy novel for just $18.72 (normally $26).

To get the full discount price, make sure you click the coupon box on the book’s Amazon page, which will drop the final total from $23.40 to $18.72 during checkout. Amazon is offering an additional 20% off a ton of books this week, with The Narrow Road Between Desires being just one of them. Side note: We also have roundups of manga box sets and video game art book deals at Amazon.

The Kingkiller Chronicle series deals

The Narrow Road Between Desires is an expanded retelling of Rothfuss’s short story The Lighting Tree and features illustrations by artist Nate Taylor. According to the book’s description, the story follows the satyr Bast over the course of a single day “as he schemes and sneaks, dancing into trouble and back out again with uncanny grace.” While it’s set in the Kingkiller Chronicle universe, The Narrow Road Between Desires also works as a standalone story that new readers can jump in with.

This isn’t the only Kingkiller Chronicle book on sale at Amazon right now. You can grab the paperback release of the first novel, The Name of the Wind, for just $10, and there are coupon deals available for the second, The Wise Man’s Fear, dropping the paperback edition to $13.13 (was $22), as well as the hardcover edition of the spin-off novella The Slow Regard of Silent Things, which is just $16.80 (normally $23).
