Star Wars Fans Can Preorder A Miniature Han Solo From Hot Toys Soon

Everyone’s favorite Star Wars rogue is getting a new Hot Toys figure, straight out of his appearance in Return of the Jedi. This version of the smuggler-turned-Rebel Alliance hero comes with a camouflage coat, his trademark blaster, an Endor-themed environmental figure base, and several sets of hands. Pricing and a release window haven’t been revealed yet, but we’ll update this post once preorders are live.

Like other Hot Toys figures, this Han Solo collectible is a sixth-scale recreation of the character, as played by Harrison Ford. The headsculpt has rotating eyeballs installed, so you can subtly alter the gaze of Solo when you pose him. Other fine details include his hands having more natural details like wrinkles and veins, the blaster being a dead ringer for the DL-44 model used to blast Stormtroopers, and the removable coat. If you buy two, you can put one on your shelf and the other in the freezer to recreate the carbonite scene from The Empire Strikes Back.

This isn’t the first time Hot Toys has produced a Han Solo figure, but new character variants are rarely revealed. Staying in that galaxy, new sixth-scale figures of Darth Vader, Padme Amidala, and Obi-Wan Kenobi are also available for preorder.

If you’d prefer a different tiny Harrison Ford on your desk, Hot Toys also has an Indiana Jones figure up for sale. Based on Ford’s final performance as the world’s most dangerous archeologist in Dial of Destiny, this figure comes with a cool display base, a tiny working torch, a genuine leather jacket, whip, and a fedora. Like every Hot Toys release, this will be a pricy collectible as the deluxe version is available for $335, and is expected to start shipping out by December.
