The smartwatch that’s a top pick for most people just dropped to a new all-time low

We test a variety of different smartwatches each year, and for the most part, we’re happy with most of them. Of course, if you’re going with a top-end product from a good brand, then you really can’t go wrong, whether it’s from OnePlus, Google, Samsung, or Garmin.

However, everyone will have their own preferences, like we do when it comes to Wear OS smartwatches, but the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is a superb product that delivers on all fronts. What makes it better right now is that it’s seeing a steep discount that knocks $210 off the usual retail price, bringing it down to its lowest price ever at just $340.

The perfect time to buy

We reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and thought it was pretty good. One of the things we didn’t like, though, was the high price. Now that the problem has been eliminated, it makes it a more tempting option to buy if you’re looking for something new.

When it comes to the hardware, you’re looking at a 46mm watch with a 1.34-inch AMOLED screen. You get a sleek yet decisive design, with a physical rotating bezel that can be used to navigate menus. There’s more than enough power in this watch to keep things running smoothly.

And since it’s running Wear OS, you get access to some of the best apps available for wearables. Samsung also delivers excellent health and fitness tracking features in order to help you understand how your body is working throughout the day. It can even track your sleep quality and stress levels.

In addition to the above, Samsung promises four years of software updates, which will bring new features for years to come. For the most part, you can’t go wrong with the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. It’s a great watch that’s perfect for most people. Of course, it is a little on the chunkier side due to its 46mm size, so you might want to try it on before buying one.
